Autistic-Affirming ERP Training

If you are looking to better serve autistic clients experiencing OCD, this course is for you. With our compassionate approach you will be able to distinguish autistic traits from OCD, feel better prepared to use ERP in a way that is accessible to autistic clients, and help all clients reduce shame. While there is a strong focus on using affirming principles at the intersection of autism and OCD, we also bring neurodivergent-affirming principles to the discussion of OCD itself. We have been approved by NBCC and will provide 3.25 continuing education hours for completion of this course at no additional charge.

Training FAQ:

  • Yes! We have been approved to provide continuing education credit through NBCC. Upon completion of the course, 3.25 CE hours will be awarded.

  • Nope!

We teach the basics and beyond for both of these concepts. Clinicians who are already familiar with ERP and a neurodivergent-affirming lens as well as clinicians who are new to one or both of these concepts will benefit from new learning and resources.

For those that are wanting to learn non-adapted ERP as it was originally designed and researched, we recommend additional training such as those offered through the IOCDF's training institute.

  • Written summaries of each module are available for download.
